After downloading the file.
1. Create a new directory on your Caanoo (F: for me) under game called emu-c64
F:\game\emu-c64\
2. Copy the contents of the zip to it.
3. Create a directory called games
F:\game\emu-c64\games\

That's great! Thanks a lot. I had not heard of KETM but I had certainly heard of Tyrian. I've only tried a couple of the modes in this but it seems to work great!
Just one question, the screen borders seem a little too large for the Caanoo screen? Is there a way to adjust this?
Thanks very much. Since I haven't got the C64 emulator to work with, Freedroid let's me play one of my favourites from that machine! Sees to work fine, though enabling transfer is not as easy as I remember.
I was in the same position! I found the video that Akabei suggested and based on that list and others as well as my own areas of interest but also favouring non-MAME games (i.e. trying to avoid inferior arcade clones), I came up with the following list:
