Linx Vision 8" Windows 10 Tablet With Gaming Controls

Saw it in PCworld and the dpad was horrible. I'm hopeful someone will come out with a clamshell windows gaming device though.

    Is Pyra expensive outdated hardware?

Depends, and a piece of enthusiast hardware then probably not but as something that's purely for games then yes absolutely. I used to have a caanoo but the analog stick broke on me. I'd really love another similar type of linux gaming device but the only other option is the gcw zero which to be...

    GPD XD

It looks the closet a Chinese manufacturer has gotten to making a decent android handheld to me. My only concern is the position of the dpad which looks a bit to low.

Still use your gp32? Gp2x? Wiz? Caanop? (Zodiac...)

I would still use my caanoo if the analog stick didn't break. Still haven't gotten a decent replacement for it. Tried a g5a but it's not as comfortable despite having handles. The gcw zero has a nice form factor but it's too expensive for something that can't do much more than my old caanoo...

I'm not going to have the funds to back this but I do hope it's successful. My caanoo broke recently and this looks like it could be a nice replacement.

GCW Zero - Open Source Gaming Handheld

Are you sure that's not kickstarters and amazon's cut your talking about? I know of a podcast that got kickstarted and revenue counted the money collected as income and was taxed accordingly.

GCW Zero - Open Source Gaming Handheld

If your going with Kickstarter remember that the taxman takes his cut which could be almost half so take that into account with the goal.

    Broken Caanoo Analog Stick

Broke the analog stick on my caanoo from keeping it in my bag pressed against something for too long. I know gph used to have a repair centre in Europe but I'm guessing that's long gone. Is there anywhere that I can send it to be repaired?
