Neo Geo Pocket? Your Top Games?

I've probably spent more time playing Cardfighter's Clash than any other game. Ever. It's insanely addictive and absorbing. All of the fighting games are based (I think) on the same engine, so as such they're all really good. I'd go for Match of the Millenium and the super Last Blade first...

    Gb/c Quick Plays

Nice reviews! Picked up on Monkey Puncher for exactly the same reason you did! I'm not sure whether the GBA game 'Pinky Monkey Town' has a better name or not though. From (dodgy) memory, the Battle Arena Toshinden GB version was coded by Takara, with the same or very similar engine used for the...

    List Your Favourite/notable Spectrum Games!

In addittion to the excellent choices already listed: Psytron was one of the games that retrospectively doesn't seem possible on a Speccy. Raid over Moscow was a particular commie-bashing favourite.

Megadrive Beat'em Ups For 3 Button Pads

Kan't remember about MK2, but the Megadrive Mortal Kombat Klassic had the High Punch button mapped to (Bakk + A) or (Towards + A) and it was possible, although utterly kounterintuitive, to get all of the moves out. Arguably better than the god-awful 'Press Start to swap between Kick and Punch'...

    "different" Genesis/megadrive Games

There was a nifty Thrust-inspired game called SubTerrania which I remember being fond of. Wonder if it works... Note to self - Buy sticky labels for SMCs... Hmmm. Bit choppy but reduce the sound sampling rate a touch and up the clock speed and that fixes it. That's my Easter long weekend...

    "different" Genesis/megadrive Games

Try and get a hold of a game called Wani Wani World (translates to Croc Croc World, if I recall correctly). It's an interesting little Bubble Bobble / Burgertime crossover that wasted many hours of my formative years. Disclaimer - can't remember actually trying it on DrMD or fGen yet, shall try...

    Good Speccy Games?

A favourite of mine from back in the day would be Psytron, a vaguely obscure but excellent game I enthuse about in great detail here, if you'll pardon the shameless self promotion. See also Jet Set Willy, Bounty Bob Strikes Back, Chuckie Egg, the surprisingly good version of R-Type, Cybernoid...

Who Had A Link To The Forum For Mashups?

Wotcha, Not sure about the forum address, but you may be interested in signing up for a mailing list named theconfidential if you haven't already at Donttellyourfriends.net. It's a fortnightly-ish mailshot full of links to the newest and bestest mashups and mixes. It's pretty nifty.
