I thought I did. It doesn't help that the patch doesn't want to unzip with 7-zip which is what I use. It says 1.2 in the system info but not on the boot screen. And no readme included in the main zip. I had to use windows compression utility just to unzip it.
The next version of Cube engine has a better in game editor. Sadly I guess it would require 3d acceleration. Alot of things could probably be done with Quake though. That is, if anyone even tries to.
You should love your self, but not to the point that its a mental disease. After all, people are always changing, mentally and physically. Perhaps so much emphasis should not be put on sexual attractiveness so often. If I was a very handsome guy, I don't know for sure if I would use that to...
I think I have more problem with the 3d games on the psp. I can play Lumines longer than i can Tony Hawks Underground 2. There is a downgrader now for PSP 2.0, so I'm going to go try it. :-D
I never got a GP32, but I came close. I'm glad I waited. My psp was probably a waste of money. $40 games <_< :( They must be crazy. I guess they are good for handheld games, but the psp screen hurts my eyes.
I'm not sure who you would need to contact about a Nethack clone. I imagine that would take a bit of time since there would be no keyboard to work with. Someone did make a Rogue clone for the Gp32 though right. It could be possible.
I haven't played Quake on a handheld, but I have played Coded Arms. That game was challenging to control. If people make mods of the Quake 1 engine for use on GP2x, perhaps they should include an autoaim feature. I don't know how difficult that would be. I can say that one of the best...
Well, that could be said about anything really. <_<
Money doesn't grow on trees you know.
Hopefully though, the price of the Gp2x in general will come down in time and would be affordable to replace.
Doom and Quake are far better than nothing. Perhaps once a well performing version of quake is released for the Gp2x, someone can then maybe modify the code to allow for more enhanced features, like higher poly models. That might not happen though if 3D doesn't "take off" for the system. But...
Congrats on getting Quake up and running. Should be neat.
I thought I read somewhere that Quake 2 has an SDL port. But Quake 2 requires hardware acceleration doesn't it? Is there any reason to think we may see Quake 2 on the Gp2x from what you know or is it going to be a stretch just getting...
