    I do not think it is a nm-applet issue. It is a NetworkManager issue. journalctl reports: pandian NetworkManager[3712]: <error> [1397115421.4269] [nm-system.c:287] sync_addresses(): (wlan0): error -7 returned from rtnl_addr_add():

    Do you use lightdm display manager? I am using slim and the nm-applet connects automatically to my wifi network but it does not obtain an IPv4. I tried to connect using network-manager without the nm-applet but the problem remains. I also move from sysvinit to systemd in order to check if...

    The same line 304: echo: write error: Invalid argument I tried from bash again as root: # echo $[ 1000 * 1000 ] > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_setspeed bash: echo: write error: Invalid argument

    I run "echo "deb http://pandian.openpandora.org/debian pandian test" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pandian-test.list" to enable test repo as you advised me. But apt-get update; apt-get install pndevmapperd "E: Unable to locate package pndevmapperd"

    "apt-get -f install" did not fix it. #apt-get install pandian https://gist.github.com/xekarfwtos/0f46875997681d4d7cc5 The interesting lines are: dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/pandian_0.6-3_all.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite '/lib/firmware/wl1251-fw.bin', which...

    Did you "apt-get upgrade"? Nm-applet connects without obtaining an ip-address only if you "apt-get upgrade" from the initial image. I couldn't install it. It reports: Create Folder /media/music Fix permissions Errors were encountered while processing...

    Both sysvinit and systemd are installed on the image. Pandian is using sysvinit (the process with pid 1 is init) but the login manager of systemd (system-logind) is autostarted at startup, so I removed systemd to avoid any conflicts.

    In order to find out the root of the problem I did a fresh installation on my SD. Step 1: I installed the normal (desktop enviroment) to the SD and I booted up and did the initial configuration. Step 2: I removed (apt-get remove) the packages systemd, lxde, pandian-lxde...

    Try to add your user to netdev group: gpasswd -a <username> netdev then logout and login again (or reboot). I try to check if installing and running lxpolkit on startup fix these issues without adding your user on netdev group, but I have the strange network issue that I mentioned above.

    The latest version of slim does not need to add the ck-launch-session to the login command. ck-sessions-list still reports empty login-session-id.
