    Project 0 2x Demo Released

Hmm, I'd thought about point blanking briefly but it doesn't really come up in the two level demo. I think the common way to handle it is for small ground based enemies to avoid point blanking but for larger ones to just fire regardless of player position. In the first two levels all the small...

    Project 0 2x Demo Released

I'll throw in some more comments now I've played it some more. I forget to mention before, but I think that the enemy durabilty is pretty much spot on. The mix between cannon fodder and more dangerous enemies is pretty good. With regards to the hitbox, I don't mind it so much but it might...

    Cpu/lcd/ram Tweaker Version 2.0

Heh, knew it'd be something silly like that, thanks! :)

    Cpu/lcd/ram Tweaker Version 2.0

I may be making a daft mistake somewhere, but I just can't seem to be able to get this to work. There's no problem until I press select to set the changes and exit, at which point it exits making no changes whatsoever. When I open the program again it tells me that it's still running at...

    Project 0 2x Demo Released

I must have missed one of the rear pods on the first ship, since it definitely gets harder after all it's components have been destroyed. The second boss's final pattern is defintely easier than it's inital pattern though.

    Project 0 2x Demo Released

Just had a quick go, initial impressions are very good. The bullet patterns are interesting to dodge, very unusual for a homebrew game. I think the bosses are possibly a bit too durable for my liking. Having destructable bits on them is nice, but they seem to work in a wierd way - the boss...

    Project 0 2x Demo Released

The game looks highly influenced by... I won't say becuase it feels like I'm spoiling it! It'll leap out to any Cave fan right away though. Not that being influenced by two of the greatest shmups of all time is a bad thing! :) I've only watched the video so far (2X batteries are on charge)...

    Firmware 2.0.0 Updater

Worked fine for me, didn't find any problem with the instructions provided and the new U-Boot recognised my cheap SD card fine for the second stage of the upgrade.

    Hacked Psp Vs. Gp2x

Depends on what you're playing. The games you mention don't exactly require precise directional control, especially Sonic where you more or less only have to worry about the one axis of movement. If you're into shooting games where the difference between left and up-left is the difference...

    Hacked Psp Vs. Gp2x

This is 100% correct. The PSP isn't without control problems, but it's a total showstopper on the GP2X.

    Fight Cube On Gp2x

Call me a crazy cynic, but; There's no money in a Tetris clone. There just isn't.

    Gngeo2x 0.6.9 *update*

The bios I'm using at the moment consists of eleven files, it's the one from the current MAME set. Then again I'm not without problems of my own at the moment, so I'm probably not the finest benchmark for setting up Gngeo! :)

    Gngeo2x 0.6.9 *update*

It sounds like it can't find the rom. If you're using that script, make sure you've got a folder at the top level of your SD card called gngeo with all the files in it, and that you've got your bios unzipped into the roms folder within the gngeo folder. Once you've sorted that out, make sure...

    Gngeo2x 0.6.9 *update*

KOF94 seems to work alright, that's the only one I've tried. I've also tried Neo Driftout - again it loads all the roms and starts emulation, but it comes up with the same corrupted graphics that Metal Slug does. I might try another bios file later on.

    Gngeo2x 0.6.9 *update*

Metal Slug 5 is way too big to work, stick to the smaller and older games...

    Gngeo2x 0.6.9 *update*

Here's what you'd use to start Sonic Wings 2 with sound, assuming your roms are in the folder called "roms"; #/bin/sh cd /mnt/sd/gngeo exec /mnt/sd/gngeo/gngeo.gpe roms/sonicwi2.zip --sound Sonic Wings 2 is pretty good with sound with the 2X clocked up to 280Mhz and it's mostly 60FPS, until...

    Gngeo2x 0.6.9 *update*

What? I've tried to enjoy their fighting games over the years, but they all fall somewhat short of the standards set by Capcom. It's not like I'm some kind of idiot who's played them for an hour once and then decided that they're crap either, I've put proper time into trying to learn to enjoy...

    Gngeo2x 0.6.9 *update*

Breakers working at 60FPS with sound at 280Mhz, that's a fantastic little fighter for you lot to try. It almost feel like a Capcom fighter apart from a few daft features. Slight bit of lag on the sound, but it doesn't affect things too much - it sounds and looks spot on! Art of Fighting...

    Gngeo2x 0.6.9 *update*

-pepone Hmm, probably a dodgy dump, I'll try and grab another version of Metal Slug from elsewhere. Karnov's Revenge runs pretty solidly at about 30FPS (maybe a little more) with sound on at 280Mhz. Windjammers loads fine and does nothing, but can still be quit out of. Alpha Mission 2 loads...

    Gngeo2x 0.6.9 *update*

Okay, Karnov's Revenge running fullspeed 60fps at 200Mhz, very impressive! I can't seem to get Alpha Mission 2 or Windjammers working though. Still, pretty amazing for a first release!
