Got a couple little problems.
I'm having trouble again with the 1.43 SNES emulator's browser not working properly - selecting a file tends to cause erratic behavior (crashing, simply not loading followed by the cursor hopping around, etc). Is anyone else still experiencing this, or vould the...
Yeah, I admittedly gave up after 320 grit or so. Just got too concerned about how it was going. If I get around to picking up some more sandpaper soon I'll continue and see how it goes, but at the moment I'm fairly happy with my current case.
So, to report back with how this went:
Oh my god don't do this. Maybe I'm just awful at sanding but it really does not work well. It just ends up scratching the plastic underneath to hell and back and looks horrible (not to mention feels bad). I kind of expected this, but it was worth trying...
Sorry, I don't. I just remember that it was intended for the Nook and sold as an "anti-glare" protector. It came with a couple, so I had a few tries to practice cutting it up correctly.
Great article! Man, I assumed Disgaea was going to run as bad as that first scene throughout so I kind of gave up on playing it on my Pandora - gonna have to give that another go soon.
I used an anti-glare one for a while and it worked alright and didn't lose much sensitivity, but it took away from the vibrancy of the screen enough that I ditched it after half a year or so.
I've had my Pandora for a little over a year now. I wasn't terribly thrilled with the paint job on mine - some obvious dust under the coating (including a small strand of hair), a bit uneven in some places - and it's gotten a bit worse with the more or less daily wear it receives. I'm in need of...
That clear plastic case looks really nice. I've been getting really excited about the Pyra. I love my Pandora, but this seems to fix every minor hardware and aesthetic issue that I had with the device. Happy to see it coming together so well!
Having the same issue here, actually. Finally got around to updating. 1.43 crashes whenever I load a game from "Load Game," but loading from "Recent Games" works fine. Additionally, after loading a game from "Recent Games," I can load from "Load Game" just fine until I quit the application and...
Going home for break soon and wanted to know if anyone had any decent settings for Paper Mario to mitigate some of the issues. Haven't had as much time for testing as I would like to.
Been using the emulators and they're all working excellently for me so far, but I've noticed a couple of issues with pairing controllers:
In the GBA emulator, controller configurations don't save. For example, I'll turn on the emulator, set up controls for my Wii U controller, then play for a...
Working great now! I also noticed some huge speed boosts with the GBA emulator. Final Fantasy VI seems to be consistently fullspeed (or at least very very close to), where as before it was pretty slow when using an airship in my experience. Great work, thanks!
Edit: Spoke a bit too soon, still...
Noticing a strange graphical issue: at the top right of the screen for the GBA and SNES emulators (and presumably others, these are just the ones I use regularly) there's a rectangular amount of space where the image seems to render slower than the rest of the screen or will be distorted for a...
I did, but with no luck due to the PIN. Also tried pairing the Wii U Pro controller with the OUYA controller method detailed on the wiki, but that didn't work either.
Correct, got a hub for it. I've gotten it to work with other emulators and programs, but QJP doesn't recognize it. It's not a big deal though, I'll just use another gamepad for now.
Anyone got a controller setup recommendation for this emulator? I really like using my Wii U Pro controller with a Mayflash adapter, but it doesn't seem to work natively or with QJoyPad.
