Should I have received my final order eMail already?

It is way to early. You should expect your pyra in two to three years. Base on the numbers from people reporting in this forum, we average approx. "error: quantity not an integer" units per month. Based on these numbers, we are at 220 on christmas in an yet to be defined year. On the following...

Assembly restart. Software work. And maybe our next SoC?

Why do you only want to upgrade the cpu? Why not the screen?

Should I have received my final order eMail already?

ED is very serious about customer service.

Should I have received my final order eMail already?

Sure. Base on the numbers from people reporting in this forum, we average approx. 17 units per month. Based on these numbers, we are at 220 on christmas. On the following diagram, you can see, that everything is as usual. The most funny thing for me, pyra should make everything different than...

Should I have received my final order eMail already?

Most likely, yes. What resistance does the NTC of the battery read?

Should I have received my final order eMail already?

I am wondering for how many not produced Pyras I am responsible for. And no, I am not DerJochen, Jeremiah or SwordfishII. They are imposters trying to copy me. Back to topic and back to September 2020 where I expected, against all others here, only a few dozen units will be produced per week...

    Just a quick heads up

When the motor is running some edgeds of signals are no longer aligned properly. And then, removing a resistor fixes that? For me, this sounds like AC-Noise that in the end was a software issue. But i know, i was wrong back then. Did you made measurements with a scope yet? The shift of the...

It reminds me of the Pandora!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osborne_effect Why should i buy a pyra with OMAP5 with hardware bugs? I wait a few more month to get thy pyra with the i.MX 8. Performance and battery life will be increased.

For me, this is no excuse. The guy from PinePhone was also alone. He pays a lot of contractors who do all the work. Expensive but not spending the money is also expensiv (cost of delay). Another solution could be to involv the community in the work. I dont mean ask them once which color the case...

It reminds me of the Pandora!

Short story: Heat builds up fast in the pyra while using. Some sensor thinks there is overheating going on and switches of charging (charging seems not to be the cause). Long Story: Heat builds up fast in the pyra while using. Who clould have knew it? No one. Also, the problem reveals that...

It reminds me of the Pandora!

One reason could be that you never ordered the neccessary amount of parts that you count as a customer with an active production. 500 pices for them is more like prototyping. Maybe my contact was wrong. He works in the department for power electronics. Fingers crossed! Otherwise I have nothing...

It reminds me of the Pandora!

I am wondering why people talk in the CPU-Board thread that there is no need for a new CPU when everybody knows, that the OMAP5 is no longer available? How many OMAP5 has ED left?

It reminds me of the Pandora!

I had a chat with my TI contact today about some bridges. I asked him about the status of OMAP5432 and he checked for me. So, the loooong time seems to be over. No more OMAP5 deliverable?

It reminds me of the Pandora!

Why? This is always a very emotional thread here in the news section and in my opinion this is the right place to do that. I would not do that in threads where there is a rational discussion for example about the advantages and disadvantages of an emulator. I am on this community since when...

It reminds me of the Pandora!

I am convinced! So it is 13 weeks to christmas. 100 units can be produced per week, around 1100 to produce. So everyone is having a pyra on christmas, even if there are some small delays. That is good news!
