    what this little scene needs

Actually, if the mascot was orange like the logo...maybe that would work....an orange swirl with eyes and feet...like Rayman (just see the gloves/shoes)?

    MPEG-4 audio codec

Hmmm...could be rabbit, could be.... Perhaps with the proper codec installed VirtualDub could play it. I'll see what I can find about it and will post if I learn anything.

Help testing possible fix for A/V sync errors.

No problem. So far, things look good. I have only done one test though but it came out better than before. I have Realbout High School and I use episode 1 as my benchmark (it had problems on my XBMP). Just converted it last night using 24kb and it had no problems. I will try some more...

    MPEG-4 audio codec

VirtualDub can load mpeg files. I have a few (mostly JPop videos) and I can load them into VirtualDub just fine. I have also converted them for use on MoviePark.

New guide to better quality Divx files.

No one has said they got 15fps to run till now. Are you saying you have a method that makes this happen in MoviePark? If so, could you post some step-by-steps or provide a link to your VDub processing settings?

need a good football game for the pc engine

The US even has a national team. I have tried getting into rugby but I can't. I am an American who prefers English Football (Liverpool) over American Football (Dolphins). Thank goodness for satellite TV!!! :)

to FLU or not to FLU

FLU. A few posts talk about dust in them (like the GBA SPs also have) but I have one (as of May 27) and I do not see any dust in mine. Maybe there is but I do not notice it at all.

    666 posts!

Biblical reference, I believe. You know, 666 is the mark of the anti-christ, etc. I can not remember if that is actually in the bible or was just a rumor started when movies like The Omen came out...

    GP32 Using Visual C++ .NET

Well, in another thread someone mentioned using the DevKitAdvance via MS .NET C++ and I tried the method as described in that thread. But, make failed to work properly in a manner similar to when it runs under Visual C++ 6. So, I did some fiddling (I am at work, after all!) and found a way to...

    GP32 Getting Gp32 development up

I know this works for Visual C++ 6 (i.e. NOT .NET). But I have yet to get it to work with the C++ in .NET. Make gives an extremely weird error like: 3 [main] make 3148 fhandler_base::dup: dup(unknown disk file) failed, handle 7C049568, Win32 error 6 It looks like make is running correctly but...

    Tutorial #3 OUT

Hmm, I thought I had done that correctly and just assumed it was a palette problem. I'll double check it. In the meantime, let me see if I am grasping things so far. First, the tileset.h file is basically a pixel-by-pixel representation of the tileset bmp file. The palette portion is the...

    Tutorial #3 OUT

Rico, it looks really good. It is pretty clear and all. I am only having one slight problem and I know it HAS to do with the palette. When it runs, the colors are ugly/not right. I am not sure how I fix this. I followed the steps, it is 256 colors, bmp and I know what index is transparent...

New guide to better quality Divx files.

Well the reason I asked Jim why he says to use v1.4c is that I have tried both and I seem to get A/V desynched. Using the 1-pass I never had this problem (with 1.54) so I was wondering if there was something specific to 1.4c that made it better for the 2-pass. Thanks.

Stainless Steel Rat rocks, BTW! :) Also, why are you using that version of VirtualDUB? Why not the latest version? Thanks.
