Has anyone tried clonekeen with firmware 2.00? Do I need to install anything else for it to work. I just get black screen which reverts back to the menu.
Allright narrowed it down to me being an idiot, well not really, the one socket in the multi plug adaptor I chose to use is poked... good thing I didnt use that when upgrading the firmware....
Hmm working again... Weird though I first plugged the DC in while it was still on with batteries in. Then when that switched it off I took out the batteries to charge and it still didn't power up I just tried again now and at first it didnt then I left it with the switch on the power on...
Weird I just upgraded to version 2.0 and everything seems fine... Except I tried to plug the DC in and it automatically shuts down. Remove the cable and its fine again. It wont power up using the DC adaptor at all?
Anyone else experience this. The DC in worked fine with previous versions BTW.
Right well arent I the lucky one, my gp2x seems to be malfunctioning when using the TV-out. Its definately nothing to do with the cable as I tested with my brothers and I get the same result, his GP2x works fine with the same cable. This means there is something like a blown capacitor or...
Well Its definately not a PAL / NTSC issue. I tried again on a TV that accepts NTSC (i.e. it has an NTSC mode) and the results are no different which means that the signal thats coming out of the gp2x is not correct. Im using firmware 1.4. But I havent seen anyone else with the same problem...
So I have the gp2x tv-out cable and i'm aware of the crappy connection etc.
When I use it I dont get a black screen like a lot of people have reported (usually due to the bad connection), I get a picture thats scrambled and in black and white.
