    Gmenu2X 0.10-Test2 Ryo's Revised Binary

I actually spoke too soon. I was searching on my laptop only but even though I moved away from sourceforge (now using github) all the older releases are still hosted there: http://sourceforge.net/projects/gmenu2x/files/gmenu2x/

    Gmenu2X 0.10-Test2 Ryo's Revised Binary

I'm sorry but it seems like I don't have it around anymore. I could rebuild it from source, but rather than doing that I would prefer to work on fixing those bugs for the next version. Maybe someone else could repost it for you.

    Gmenu2X 0.10-Test2 Ryo's Revised Binary

Hi, I'll look if I still have it somewhere on the laptop or on one of the SD cards. Lately I am busy with other projects but I hope to find some time to fix any issue still present in gmenu2x 0.11.

    Gmenu2X 0.11

Well my experience was perfect with open2x while FW4 added nothing except SDHC support (which was available as a patch before) and created new problems. Returning back on topic, confirm that GMenu2X is running at least at 136Mhz. If it was working for you with the previous version, it should...

    Gmenu2X 0.11

I think the touchscreen problems may be related to the FW 4.0.0 (or later). I never upgraded to that version because it caused more problems than it solved. On open2x it works fine. I'll test the other issues tomorrow.

    Gmenu2X V0.11 Released

Battery support is implemented. System time is planned for the next release.

    Gmenu2X V0.11 Released

GMenu2X v0.11 is now ready and available for download on the project homepage. New in version 0.11 Wiz and Caanoo support implemented (including battery readings and overclocking) Completely rewritten font code: fonts are now standard truetype fonts with a 1px outline. Skins can specify a...

    Gpsp Is Out!

That's exactly what I thought. If the source was on github/bitbucket/gitorious (I love github) it would be a lot easier to submit and receive patches. Pull requests are really handy.

Caanoo / WIZ Overclocking The Caanoo

It doesn't seem to solve the problem. Also note that I am not overclocking, but underclocking and the noise seems to appear when I go under 200Mhz. At 150Mhz it's rather strong and at 50Mhz it's very weak (almost gone).

    Gpsp Is Out!

Yeah, sorry about that. I thought I created the link against gpsp_caanoo but it was using gpsp.gpe. It works fine now. I have another small issue with the menu of gpsp (I think I sent a patch for the gp2x about this too). When you press X in the menu, so that you go back to the game, the input...

Caanoo / WIZ Overclocking The Caanoo

Do you know how I can make the kernel recalculate the audio dividers when I didn't open the audio device? I applied the overclocking code to GMenu2X and depending on the frequency set in the menu I can hear white noise from the speaker. I think it is probably related to the audio clock issue but...

    Gpsp Is Out!

Hey zx-81, thanks for the port, works fine here. Would you mind adding the ability to run a rom passing the file as a parameter to gpsp on the command line, so that it can work with an external selector (in particular I would use gmenu2x itself). I remember adding that functionality to the gp2x...

    Gmenu2X

I didn't check the version distributed by pickle, but try gmenu2x first and if it doesn't work try gmenu2x.gpu/gpe (don't know how it's named)

    Gmenu2X

You can also edit the path used in autorun.gpu if you want to keep using /mnt/sd/gmenu2x I already considered that, of course, and I just "released" the hack as a proof of concept. I already have a couple of solutions for this but I still need to decide which one to implement, but I'm sure this...

    Gmenu2X

Oh, right... be sure that you renamed "gmenu2x" and not "gmenu2x.gpu" I'll include everything already preconfigured when I'll release the next version anyway.

    Gmenu2X

Is the gmenu2x folder located @ /mnt/sd/apps/gmenu2x? It's working right now on my caanoo and I'm pretty sure it should work everywhere (this is simple linux stuff) Also autorun.gpu must reside @ /mnt/sd/autorun.gpu Maybe also check the unix line endings (use something like notepad++ if you are...

    Gmenu2X

A clock is definitely possible now (there was no hw clock in the gp2x). The only problem with its implementation is that the new gmenu2x code is completely idle (no cpu usage) until there is user input (joystick/touchscreen). A functional clock would require waking up the interface to refresh...

    Gmenu2X

Yes, the hack is standard linux stuff, it should work everywhere, but I don't have a wiz to test it.

    Gmenu2X

Quick update: I found a working solution for the autorun problem that seems to work perfectly WITHOUT touching the firmware filesystem. I think it's pretty clever, if I do say so myself. I'm still testing it, but I think we have sorted out one problem.

    Gmenu2X

That's exactly what the wrapper function in gmenu2x does. The problem are all those apps with hardcoded calls to the standard menu. At the time of gp2x I already criticized this method used by gph that enforces the programmers to call the menu themselves. Btw, creating links against the app...
