Hi Supercoders :), You Wanna Earn 100 Euro's By Adjusting A Audio

I posted a link to some example code for time stretching, does it work for you? http://www.dspdimension.com/html/timepitch.html The code: http://www.dspdimension.com/html/pshiftstft.html

Hi Supercoders :), You Wanna Earn 100 Euro's By Adjusting A Audio

Yes, of course. But the main parts are already available, picking from gmu, tweaking the player window and adding the pitch control and seeking should be 'simple' work, although I never looked at the code, so can't really say for sure. If the playing code of gmu supports pipelining of the...

Hi Supercoders :), You Wanna Earn 100 Euro's By Adjusting A Audio

I was thinking in possible features for this: - Pitch shifting/Time scaling - Pitch bending (for syncing) - Gain control (obvious :P) - Seeking - Ladspa plug-in support --- 3 band equalizer --- echo --- flanger --- others considered useful --- own gui for control of filters - Looping/Beat...

Hi Supercoders :), You Wanna Earn 100 Euro's By Adjusting A Audio

I thought of something like that some time ago, with the players available, the only missing part is the djing frontend, pitch scaler, 3 freq equalizer (with kill support), and ladspa support (with a simple filter selection, echo, flanger, and those more used). One could use a switch button for...

    Djing Software

Was it that stupid? Why not? I've seen weirder ideas... That's why the GP2X has a headphone port and mixers have preamps... Maybe, although you'd need to buy vinyl for the tts which isn't very cheap and quite difficult to find. The CD decks could be a better option, tough. And where's the...

    Djing Software

With the great music applications available, would there be usage for a Djing software? Using two GP2X for decks? Just an idea... :)

Why do threads even have topic? Isn't there a threshold when moderators... erm... moderate?

    Too Many Firmwares

Yes, you don't need some stuff running to play games (if you activated some daemons like telnet, or samba, etc), so they shouldn't be started before the menu, there's where the various script link number is useful, you can decide where on the boot process the menu can be booted, if you hack away...

    Too Many Firmwares

The boot process is an ugly mess... Sharp did the same with the Zaurus, they ditch sysvinit priority support and use hacked scripts...

    Too Many Firmwares

A major version change implies major changes. One major change needed is a decently done booting system. If it takes longer to boot that changes aren't there. Changes to the UI have been a higher priority than long needed system performance and coherency, which IMHO is a bad choice.

    GP2X Gp2x Boot Procedure

I'm talking about the Linux boot process, which is the main bottleneck. Scripts aren't well planed and I believe there isn't parallel process booting. If something like a priority system would be used for booting (and sysvinit already provides that with the script number), we could have a usable...

    GP2X Gp2x Boot Procedure

I wish you good luck with this! ;) A kind of automated process is wonderful as it makes it easier to be updated with the sources that GP launches, even though the only thing you'd need is the updates to the kernel, anyway. :) Say something when you release anything related to this. Thanks for...

    GP2X Gp2x Boot Procedure

That's expected. Of course, there isn't magic involved ;) Nevertheless a few seconds is completely different from the time it takes now... Do your project have a place on the web? Are you using a framework like openembedded or coding everything yourself? Having people close to GP, isn't...

    GP2X Gp2x Boot Procedure

I'd like to know how's the state of alternative gp2x environments. As usual, the boot sequence on the gp2x is an ugly hack, which is pretty usual on enterprise implementations of embedded Linux, they stop using the built in sysv init, let all the filesystem with unneeded files and links (all...
