i dont know much about this, but there is a adventure game maker (link: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/) called adventure game studio. there have been a few cool games made with this.

just wondering if their is a way to port all these games similar to scummvm, or would each game have to be ported seperatly by whoever compiled the game in the first place?

From the FAQ:
AGS is free for non-commercial use. However, it is not open source

Sorry :( This would have been cool, but it's clearly impossible- unless you can persaude the author(s) that a GP2X port of the AGS interpreter is a good idea. There is already a Linux port on their page, but of course it may be a big leap to go from their current code to GP2X compatible code- it depends on how much platform specific code they use (i.e. assembly).

Oh and most of the games I saw listed on the AGS site had fairly high resolutions (compared to 320*240). Of course there's always the scaler, but then the games *might *look fair shocking scaled down... (especially ones using small fonts)
