Hello all,

In my quest to setup gmenu2x and using the selector function, I changed from drmd to alexkidd2x for sms emulation. However it seems that my games are running anywhere between 90-120fps.

Does alexkidd2x have a frame limiter? Where do I find it?
Also, when I exit (L sholder + R sholder) my gp2x goes to a blank screen, and I do have wrapper enabled in gmenu2x

Any hints?

Cheers

While it doesn't help via selector, if you load the .gpe directly (not via selector), the menu allows you to set the CPU speed -- just underclock to below 150mhz on games that are too fast.

Also, the readme says this:

(on menu screen)
CLICK+Y -> Save actual rom configuration as default configuration for all roms/

Will that help at all?

Hopefully Puck2099 can shed some light if there are commandline parameters...

EDIT: Have you set gmenu to load alexkidd2x at 150mhz? If you left it at the default 200mhz, that may be your problem.

Hi,

I don't know how gmenu2x works. If you can go through AlexKidd2X menu, select "Frameskip 0" and it will be limited, if gmenu2x launchs emulator using command line try adding "--fskip 0" after rom name.

Regards
