Craig, are you doing a full port of Allegro? I hope so, I have been looking at the site here: http://www.talula.demon.co.uk/allegro/ (when I say full, I don't mean the OS specific or other stuff that we don't need on the GP32).

The gui routines could be VERY useful, among about 100 other useful bits.

The info and code here: http://www.allegro.cc/?request=1048212069&...bdfe89f885cf57c
looks good too. I wonder if the gif library handles animated gifs? I need animated gifs for a "toy" I have been thinking about.

What hando should have said was craig has ported PARTS of allegro, some parts of it would be a nightmare to port, mostly i've done all the image routines and have came up with a rather bad way of using your DAT files + sound (mods, samples), stuff like Rotate bitmat isn't (yet) supported nor is the GUI (i've never used it), but it could become a good open source project if enough people were interested.

I'm getting it to the point that it will compile all MY stuff :) you will see from the stuff i will release next week.

Hey Craigix,

Just wondering about the status of your partial Allegro port.

Not trying to rush ya, just curious.
