Any Truth To This

• Practically many videos are not playable without capping them. - don't understand this but video playback is broken to an extent where it's unplayable
• There are reports of Xvid playing too fast, and DivX sound not in sync with video. - true
• There is a battery problem, 2 hours battery-life with standard batteries only. - there is a battery issue but it's closer to 2 1/2
• There is no power supply or charger included with the GP2X. true but not really a fault
• Stereo jack sinks on some units, because of poor soldering. not sure but I'd have thought a socket would be held in place with a screw rather than soldering
• The speakers are mono instead of stereo. true but this isn't exactly a first with handhelds
• Headphone channels are switched, left is not left. true apparently but fixable in software
• The action buttons are too small. Your thumb can cover all four. they could do with being bigger but this is opinion not a fault.
• There is a large joystick deadzone (that can be fixed with a "mod" according to a distributor). it's fine if you mess with the joystick
• Uneven color distribution on the screen and other LCD problems. colour is fine, but there are other issues
• Long boot time (28 seconds). true
• Compatibility problems with some brands, types or sizes of Flash Cards. not a compatibility issue, SD slot isn't functioning correctly
• USB Connection and incompatibility problems with Windows XP (apparently fixed with latest Firmware). USB is patchy

These are issues but the vast majority of them just need the firmware update.

It's fair enough if liksang will delay orders, afterall large numbers of returns cost them a fortune
