hello,

i know, i asked a similar question some time ago, but i now try it again.

i tried to compile the frodo source, but i couldn't make it. i talked to many people in the chat and to the author as well, as i remember.
he said, the devkit was modified in some ways for the frodo-project.

i really would like to improve the gui (DrMD is an excellent example) and i also would like to improve the save states (slots!), because after loading a state and then saving, errors occurr.

i don't know, if i can make it, but at least i'd like to give it a try.

so my question is, can anyone compile the latest frodo source? if yes, would it be possible to give an "how-to" to me? or even better, upload the whole kit or sending it via dcc in mirc?

thx

So I searched and remembered this ... http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?showtopic=16363

I downloaded and make'd frodobeta12 as I remember doing with beta8.

And it compiles happily .. until ... It fails on some assembler and prototype mis-defines in gp32/chatboard/kbdrv.c

So! It looks like they're using the devkitarm libs but with an updated gcc! <_<
I don't know enough about gcc how to update the relevant files or how to decide which ones :(

Hope this gives you enough info to get started!
