Hello,

I try to get wifi on devuan chimaera no systemd.

(devuan chimaera)

My kernel is thedefault delivered from NAND:
I use usbiattach and copied uImage-3

I installed wl1251 with apt-get ... ti connectivity.

Error is:
"wl1251: ERROR could not get firmware: -2"


Any ideas

Not sure about Devuan, but AFAIK Debian used to avoid shipping any binary firmwares etc until recently, so you may need to manually add the repository containing the non-free packages and install the necessary firmware package. Error code -2 should be "No such file or directory".
 
Get /lib/firmware/wl1251-fw.bin from the OP rootfs then copy it on Devuan ?

What happens when doing "sudo modprobe wl1251" ?
