Help with PXML validation

I'm trying to get a pnd uploaded to the repo, but it fails with this error:


MISSING:


xml elements: categories | - application block1


here's the PXML.


What am I missing?

is that the PXML thats appended to the PND?


or the PXML thats inside or both? because i cant see an error in that PXML


but if you changed the PXML inside the pnd but didnt append the updated version then it could result in a fail perhaps if the old one was wrong.

it doesn't but due to changes in code I didnt add this info to the appropriate array if the subcat was missing and it shouldn't be like that.

I've validated it against the schema file. The "author" field should have an "email" attribute, not "mail". I think that's your only real problem. The schema also insists you have "titles", "descriptions", and "licenses" blocks in the application block, but those aren't strictly necessary.
