I have been encoding movies just fine. I want to now try an encode a movie in another language and have subtitles in it as well. What do I need to do to have the subtitles turned on when I encode a movie?

I think you have to have the subtitles in a serperate file and then add them into the moviee using virtualdub.. although I may be wrong as I've never done it

I hadn't even thought of that. I will try to do that. I will report what I did if people are interested if I have any success. I guess I will find out if anybody else is trying to put subtitled movies on their gp32 besides me.

That's a pretty nice idea. I have never used my GP to watch movies, however I can't stand dubbed movies :p So subtitles are preferable to some people ;P

Thanks to everyone for the help. I have definitely gotten closed captioning in English now, which isn't bad for a anime completely in japanese. I should have this process licked in the near future.
