Next Gen console game size/storage


Yeah, That's still the killer argument of the PC: even if you buy a new one, you can still play all the old games you had before.
+ Overall cost of ownership is lower unless you hardly buy any games.

+ Old peripherals (Joysticks / steering wheel / mouse etc.) will usually still work with a new system.
 
I'm not a gamer, but I have the feeling that many of these modern games rely way too heavily on pre-rendered cutscenes and similar pre-chewed semi-interactive movies, and they probably don't make an effort at all to keep the size of the game low since people get the feeling that they get more value for their money if they get more gigabytes.
