Looks like HardKernel have now released the Octa ODROID for $149. Pretty cheap, merasures only 94mm x 70mm  x 18mm.  First ODROID I have seen with a fan, tells you plenty about whether the stories of it over heating are true or not. Maybe I'll wait for the faster 5420 version

Check it here: http://liliputing.com/2013/08/hardkernel-odroid-xu-octa-core-dev-board-available-for-149-and-up.html

All the odroid products has a fan man...

The only difference here in XU is the fact they included some things in the shipment, like case, active coller,PSU,where on u2 and x2 you have to buy it as optional.great move!

This time also the fan is all-in-one with heatsink, and that's why they sell it with board, because they can't give board with heatsink and termal pad on cpu...without cooler.

On phones 5410 suffer a bit from temperatures, but here with active fan (and good fan with enough power)and heatsink with termal pad,the problem dowsn't exist.

The case is an optional extra when I looked yesterday.

There's another thread for this already by the way.

Edit: My mistake, this is the older thread.  Still, there are now two.  Tsk, silly ShleeDragon.

...yes,it's possible buy it as a extras...but it's anyway sold with the board when you plan to buy it(being XU or XU-E).

With the xu you'll have:

PSU 12v\4A

Case

Heatsink+fan coooler

On the optional side, you can buy everything i listed above as a seperate item (in case you will end up broke case, psu or cooler)but isn't required at time of buying because alrady in the package with the board.

The Odroid X2 came with a heat sink, not a fan.  This is the first to use a fan stock
