One of my nubs only reads the vertical axis

Quite strange, I replaced both nubs a few weeks ago and they worked, I used very often the right one as mouse buttons.

But then suddenly right and left "buttons" stopped working, I looked at the input tester and my right nub only registers values on the vertical axis, it's like the sensors for the horizontal movement are fried.

Doesn't seem something physical because the feel of the nub is exactly the same, it has enough resistance to return to the centre by iself and as I said a couple days ago it worked.

I have tried to reset the configuration from the nub configurator and leaving the battery out for a while to see if it resets itself.

Has anyone noticed a similar problem?

Is there another way to reset the nub calibration?

If there is no solution I may buy another nub from ED.

Yeah, seems like one solder joint wasn't 100% okay and failed over time.

Pretty easy fix, if you know a bit of soldering.

Open the unit, carefully remove the PCB, resolder all the nub solder joint (unless you see which one failed, then just resolder that one) and that's it.
