I dunno what it is but something about these old speccy games gives me a rather special feeling of nostalgia... it could be that my parents spent more time playing them than caring for me, which kinda explains the way i am today

neway... a few years back Craig Rothwell (who i've seen floating around on these forums, making MAME emus and selling GP32s) did a nice blend of all the JSW games along with a slightly cut down Manic Miner and MM7.
Also around the same time Andy Noble released JSW and Manic Miner, these versions are my personal favorite, with better graphics and sound but the gameplay is still perfect (in fact Andy's Manic Miner was the basis for the GBA version)

Neway... the point is could someone please please please port these to the GP32? I know there's the speccy emu but i wanna see the GP used to it's fullest...

Yeah, when I first came here, I went "hang on, that name looks familiar" and about 2 seconds later I realised why, hehe...emulation and remakes have a lot in common, including a mutual user base. :p

But yeah, this thought has crossed my mind as well. It's something I'd like to see but wouldn't exactly go all out of the way for...but who knows? Craig mighta just been waiting for someone to mention it :)

It would be nice to see a 16bit computer emulated (Amiga\ST) - I'm sure I've seen some source code flying about on the net - maybe UAE - as there are several ports for this(I think)

From memory, I seem to recall all the major Amiga/ST emulators use ASM based 68000 emulation code, and since ASM is different from CPU to CPU, it may require changing. But I'm no coder, so don't ask me :p

Either way, Amiga emulators are pretty tricky to set up on a PC, so would it be possible at all without being...well, dumb?
