Hi,

I updated TV-Browser .PND to version 3.3.2 http://www.tvbrowser.org/index.php?setlang=en

If you already have version 3.2.1 installed, it will ask you to update your Plugins. I recommend you do so (so make sure you are connected to the Internet). It should keep all your settings and already available TV data.

TV-Browser gets the daily TV program from the internet and shows it clearly aranged - like a printed TV guide. An internet connection is only necessary during the data update. Note: You can not use TV-Browser to watch TV.

It knows a lot of channels (TV and radio!) from Europe, USA and Australia.
Full list of channels is available here:
http://www.tvbrowser.org/index.php?id=channellist

On first start it checks for an internet-connection and lets you set up you favourite channels and so on. Language of the menus can be changed afterwards in the preferences.

Known issues:
Java apps are pretty demanding. Everything is fine on 1GHz units, but 600MHz need overclocking!  it is reported to also run fine on 600MHz units without overclocking using Oracle Java (thanks to Fusion_Power for testing). If you experience problems, try to overclock a bit. Disabling some "fancy" features in the preferences or using a SWAP file may improve stability as well.
- first setup wizard window is too large, you can resize it or move it with the stylus while keeping left shoulder-button pressed. Same for the preferences-window

- updating the TV data may be slow, but so is the Desktop version of TV-Browser

Changes for Pandora version:
included a default-settings file to:
- change initial size of main-window
- disable "personas" (fancy skins). It is not removed from the package, so you can activate it again (not recommended)

Get it from the repo: http://repo.openpand...vbrowser.fs.000

Big thanks to WizardStand for his Java PND and Foxblock for his PNDTools!

Ok, thanks for testing! I'll change the description in the Repo then :)

I just updated tvbrowser to the latest version.
Or let's say I tried to, but I got this Error on the repo:

PXML INVALID

I don't understand what this is trying to tell me (the PXML is identical to the previous version, except for the version number). I also tested the latest version on my Pandora, and it works fine (seems to be a bit faster, too).

It does show up on the main page though.

Could somebody please confirm that the update works? Otherwise I'll try to re-upload the .PND

As usual it will ask you to update your Plugins, which is always a good idea. So make sure you are connected to the internet before running it.
