Yes, I've tried ALL four methods mentioned on the TWiki for getting this damn thing working.

I've NEVER had a problem connecting USB to Xp until Firmware 2.0.0. It just keeps coming up with "device not recognised". I did get it working ONCE by plugging it in to a USB 1 hub, but that too is now unrepeatable.

I'm gutted. I had the USB networking stuff sorted just wonderfully and now I can't even make USB work at all.

Anyone get any good tips on how to get the damn thing recognised? :(

if your OS is Windows XP

first open start, then run
enter this command and make a system recovery point
Code:
%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe
then follow this guide
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315539/en-us
this is the way to make notpresent devices available in the device manager..
disconnect the gp2x
do this steps, then go to the devicemanager and delete everything with a "?" or "!" and the ghosty entries (not connected devices),
reconnect the gp2x and activate usb...

sometimes Windows have the same device more than once in the device manager, this can cause problems.. so clean your system ;)

if this cleaning cause problems use the previous made system recovery to undo the changes
i recommend a backup as it should always exist :p
