Windups Age2k And Kreader Don't Save Data

I can not find any information on this problem anywher else, but the windups utilities Age2k and KReader built into windups do not save any data.

Windups saves the desktop config and the icon placing and names just fine, but when I add a phone number to Age2k and save, close, and then re-enter they disappear. Then if I try save, close, save desktop, restart, and try that, nothing.

KReader does the same thing, only I'll make a bookmark, turn off, and turn on, and the bookmark does not get saved.

Any ideas?

I had the same thing. The bookmarks in Kreader were lost after I switched off then on again. I originally installed manually from the zipped download. After I removed this and installed from the FPK download everything was ok

I think you've just installed the .fxe in the gpmm directory... you need this structure:
the .fxe in /gpmm
/gpmm/wind-ups/imgs (.gifs inside)
/gpmm/wind-ups/kreader (with a file named potbmk)
/gpmm/wind-ups/age2k (with a file named age2k.dat and some gifs)

I'm not sure if it will work if you create them from scratch or you have to look for them, try it and if this doesn't work look for the old wind-ups 1.0 installing pack and then reinstall the new .fxe. Anyway, I tried to install it and I couldn't manage to make ver 2.0 work, I'll try again soon...
