- More accurate MP3 VBR length correction for proper seek position.
- Can play MP3 from 16Kbps to 320Kbps bit-rate.(Full support MPEG2.5)

How to use.

1) Unzip & Copy wma_mp3.fxe in to GPMM folder.

Well, this replaces GPMad MP3 as my player of choice. LOVE the long filename support + track/files listing, ID3 support would be great though. Maybe having it display ID3 tags if they are present and specifically if a track name is present, else display the filename.

Also not sure about the green colour for selected files, makes them hard to see even with flu turned on.

Just a thought as well, maybe have the next/previous track mapped to left and right movement of the stick, thus freeing A and B for a pause function and something else.

But an excellent mp3/wma player, will def. go to work with me tonight as the player I now use! :)

great player.. hope it gets OGG support soon..
what about id3 tag support?

Okay,

Next version will have below things.

- Next/Previous track mapped to left/right instead of A/B button.
- ID3 tag will be displayed. But, I need check the internationalization.
- 'A' button can be used for PAUSE function.
- OGG porting needs a lot of time. But, I'll try it.

Thank you for your feed back.

hi
why dont you use Yogg sources?
It could be good to use them as they are already available

see you
Hi washo,

Yogg source code is based GCC compiler with Gamepark official library.
But, I'm using ADS compiler with Mirko's library.
There are a lot of difference.

I could port the TREMO(original OGG source code) to ADS/Mirko.
It could decode the OGG file without problem.

But, there is something strange. <_<
The code seems to be breaking the system clock register or audio clock related registers.
It is not easy to dubug those kind of problem.

Thanks,

I will use it as my mp3 player when it will have a random/shuttle mode....

Please, add this, and then you have a must player :)
(plus it is easy to implement)

Also, you can totally remove the volume control with up and down !
Changing the volume is absolutely not needed as we already have a external volume modifier on the GP32....

also, remove the "start" button to reset the GP32... i'd rather prefer a combination, like "Start+select" or somefin lik this....

And for the "hold" combination, i'd also prefer "select+right" than the actual "select+Left"...

but your work is still very good :) As I said, the only real lack to my opinion is the random play of songs....

Keep up the good work !

Can the gp32 even do random?
As all devices of this type it can do pseudo-random... it is not possible to generate completely random numbers.

Personally, I'd rather see skip forward and back on the shoulder buttons (easier to reach when in a pocket).

I too would like to see shuffle support, but I can wait :)

Excellent work man you're a skilled man! :)
Why not putting your player in Full screen?
It would be better. :)

There seams to be something wrong with the link. I cant't download it.
It works very well. :)

Just wondering if/how you can encode artist/songtitle info in the mp3 files. I've been making mp3's lately with Soundforge and Wavelab, but only get a '?' in the artist/songtitle slots.

winamp can do it. just put the file into the playlist and right click it and select "view file info"
