Yabause - Port Request

Well you can't fault his enthusiasm.

Okay, I guess you sorta can.

You really probably should.

BREAKING NEWS:

Yabause just got added to the "Port requests"!

http://pandorawiki.org/Port_requests#Emulators

And to "Will X run on the Pandora?" too, with a mark "Possibly" and a prooflink!

Name: Yabause

Description: Sega Saturn emulator

Proof of possibility: PSP is less powerful than Pandora, and can handle it quite good. Check the link for extra information

Prooflink: http://pandorawiki.org/User_talk:Blue_Protoman#Yabause

Take that!

Well, you know, anybody can edit this wiki and that has nothing to say, just ask anybody, who actually knows what he is doing, if ogl->ogles conversion is an easy task...

I bet, that BlueProtoman set it to the list :D

Edit: Yes i knew it ;)

Edit: I think it will be possible to make this work too, but I don't know if it is worth the effort to da a conversion just to see, that it is not near fullspeed.

Um.. congratulations...? Who added that link, you? Or someone else who doesn't realize that PSP hasn't been shown to handle Yabause "quite good" at all, and that the video you linked earlier is a fake?

The video isn't fake, believe it or not.

And the impossibility of Sega Saturn emulation is 10 years old Internet meme.

In the history of humanity, there are a lot of things which were considered impossible, and then completed flawlessly!

It is fake, and I feel a little sorry for you for not realizing it. There are all sorts of fake emulator videos on eBay too, what makes you think this one is more convincing? I guess you should offer some kind of compelling evidence if you really believe in it. From a technical standpoint it's incredibly unlikely, but from a logistics standpoint it makes no real sense either - why would some complete unknown make such an impressive emulator, make a video of it, then not release it?

You know what else is an old argument, the usual "something someone considered impossible was accomplished so therefore this thing I want that is considered is impossible must be something that can be accomplished too!"
