Apologies if you're all sick of my random lists (I do love them so)

Had a bit of a retro console fest this past weekend & one of the first things I played was Space Channel 5 mostly because of the soundtrack in particular Ken Woodman's 'Mexican Flyer'

For me those two examples significantly enhance the experience & seem to perfectly fit the games, what are some of your favorite tracks used in games? (not stuff designed specifically for the game)

There is a wealth of amazing classical music that is disregarded by games companies and film companies too.

More often than not classical music is vastly superior to crap movie style scores for games and movies.

Its something i'm gonna do, i'm gonna put a piece or two by the great composers in a game i make.

Can't really think of many examples, maybe blondies song in gta vice city, yeah that was cool.

Please use something from Franz Liszt, he rocked!

I really love "Ce qu'on entend sur la montagne" (/ Bergsymphony / Mountain Symphony), even more than "Les préludes" (Preludes).

Rachmaninov got some great stuff, too.

probably Rob Hubbard's(still the king of ingame music) version and remixed workings of Koyaanisqatsi by Philip Glass and On the run by Pink Floyd in the c64 game Delta how can a 26 year old game on 30 year old hardware embarass these new multi core systems today is beyond me The ingame music is 10 minutes of getting warped to another dimension timeless
