Hello all,
It appears that my script has a minor bug and did not include the "Merged Components:". Fix is already added for next run.
But I have a different question for discussion. What about adding:
dri-devel@lists.freedesktop.org linux-omap@vger.kernel.org linux-sunxi@lists.linux.dev linux-mips@vger.kernel.org linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org phone-devel@vger.kernel.org
to the recipients of these updates?
I am not sure if that would be against some unwritten rule of these mailing lists.
Especially the dri-devel list seems to defend their own kingdom. And it is sent by "kernel-build-bot@letux.or" and they may not like bots.
On the other hand, there are a lot of bots on LKML and sub-mailing lists. But they may have some official permission because they are run by maintainers and not a community project like ours.
And if this is set out once per release cycle (between -rc2 and -rc4) it will not be much traffic.
What do you think?
BR, Nikolaus
