WTF
So Surreal
Y wud we like it, aside from the excellet animtion
I just though it was bloody good. imo it's a symblofication of the way people just smile and ignore what's going on. (war for example, in the past, WW1 being a great example)

Unfortunately, that just seemed like a waste of my time. It's the same as all the other noir-style films, some stupid social commentary on violence and apathy, blah blah blah. Now it's just flash-noir.

OK, granted this film could be left to interpetation. But I think its main point was about people forcing you to do what they do or want you to do or else suffer. Then it turns out they're nothing but a bunch of mindless robots themselves.

Hmm I long ago shook away symbolism from my life...the sad fact is that this film shows exactly what you should do with your life....what else can you do otherwise?

All i can say is what the hell... Were those people or what, looked like eggs on a card board boxes.

seen any it's sequal which is like 50 times better. Fucking amazing. Why's the end bad?
It shows how they just don't give a fucking shit about what just happened. That's it's brilliance.

Was a lot like your avatar Diablo2 except without the creepy music and smiling robots.

Yeah, I liked it. It seemed really deep and mysterious.

Personally, I like the following interpretation of the movie (taken from a review):

The person in the torture chair thinger was You, and the people behind the desk were the jocks, the preppy people; the popular crowd. "Smile" to me, represented "Pretend to like what the media says is cool", and thats what the popular people do, which makes them popular. The spikes represent when you don't agree with what is popular, or don't do something that is popular, and they mentally "Stab" you with their insults. "Why won't you do it, you fag?" Or "Why do you wear those clothes, freak?!" Are common insults I get daily. One day you just can't take the insults anymore, and you "Fall", like in the movie, whgich may represent totally removing yourself from practicly anyone, or even committing suicide. After "You" Fall, you can see that the popular people behind the desk are only wearing masks, masking who they truly are. After, they "party" and have sex, because its "Cool".
The people who don't like this movie are the ones who would be behind the desk, pressing the buttons. ;) (OK, let me rephrase that; some of the time)

Did anybody see this movie that the same guy made?

It's absolutely amazing! Apocalyptic goodness. :D
I'm looking forward to the 3rd installment!
