First Working Dc Emulator

Hmm... whenever I tried puting a DC Original Disk (Sonic Adventure II) in, the emulator recognizes it as Audio Disk... any ideas?

I think you cant read a DC game (on a GD-ROM support) because it is a kind of protection : The GD-rom is not burned in a normal way so a player cant read it
You need a CD backup version of the game or a ISO (both are illegal I think except if you own the original)

see you

You have to create a self booting ISO of the original game. Get a coders cable, from liksang or whatever, and use some GD ripping util to copy it to your PC, create an ISO from that, and your on your way to emulating a DC.

SHENMUE! Likes thats going to possible without a radeon 9800
Read the thread given in the link provided by the original poster. :)
People are running the emulator on 2ghz pc`s with Geforce 3 ti500s With 80% ish speed, Even in this early alpha. So it looks like a Radeon 9800 may no be needed. ;)

quick question

on the secong chapter of ikaruga when your underground there are these pilars with flashing lights, on the dc can you see the chains, cuz on chanka you can't

Why is it everytime I load up an ISO or a backup DC game it says: This Game doesnt support the AV cables that is currently connected to the main console. Turn off the power and replace the AV cable. Help

Everytime I load up a game it says: You have spent too much time on this computer already. Disconnect the AV cables, turn off the power and go outside for some fresh air

May I suggest this thread for problems: http://www.dcemu.co.uk/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.p...834201;start=15 (scroll down a bit)

Some Ikaruga screens: http://www.thaworx.co.uk/ikaruga/

Although I've looked for advice, I'm having problems running Sonic Adventure and Chu-Chu Rocket. I think they're self-booting, but what happens if they aren't? At the moment the DC runs it as an audio cd and shows a set of tracks that blatantly won't play, whilst selecing 'Play' pops up the error "Please insert a game disc". :(

I've had this problem with every game I've tried :(

^^^^ I also had these issues.

My games were all PAL and I then tried some NTSC games and they both worked. PAL games are suposed to work though so it must have just been a coincidence or something.
