Would it be possible to connect the GP32 to a televsision. By means of scart or RF? I know it would be terrible quality on a large screen, but viewing certain videos for all when visiting someones house would be cool, or playing mp3s through the televisions speakers.

Am i inventing impossible scenrios? or could this be possible?
Thanks

i dont think u can connect it 2 tv, but u can connect ur gp to speakers by getting one of those cords with white, yellow n red on 1 end and a connector which loks like a headphones plug at the other end and use that. (i was doing it a couple of hours ago while playin ddr gb :p

kinda like this

gp32_console

dont bother puging in the yellow 1 coz it wont do ne thing

EDIT: damn my ascii pic didnt work :(

Hmm... looking at that, you've given me something to think about - like might it not be possible for someone to output, rather than sound, video signals to the speakers and thus by proxy to the headphones? Then just make sure the volume is only up when there's something plugged in, else you'd hear probably something like modem noises from the speakers or some such, and just use an adaptor to get it that way? I know it wouldn't be possible with the official SDK (or I presume it wouldn't), but if you were able to access the hardware directly and write a translation routine, I imagine it might be theoretically so. Wouldn't be possible to have sound at the same time, though, I imagine...

You would need an RF adaptor to do something like that... and it would be soooo non-standard that it would probably blow any tv you plugged it into... hmmm portable electronic tv destroyer... now thats an idea ;)

Anyone fancy a ninja style raid on Gamepark headquarters? (Apparently they have loads of stuff unreleased for the GP32 like TV adapters, Internet adapters, PDF / Flash Players, Coffee Machines etc..) Then nip across the border and be back in Beijing in time for tea :)

Yes, I want the my clear gp32 case and the ability to surf the net too. B)

Sounds like a * VERY * difficult coding task.

Yuo can also tape your camcorder at 20cm off the GP32's screen and connect the camcorder to your TV

Why not do the easy thing though, build a projector of sorts that can hook onto the screen and project onto a wall? It wouldn't require and opening of the gp32 case and could allow you to watch movies on a bigger "screen"

I remember asking if something like this was possible a couple of months back and got shot down :) I think it has to do with the resolution when being scaled up - so stuff like SF2 and movies become really blocky etc..
