I assume there will be a lot of people who say this same thing today thanks to GBAX, so we can use this thread to give first opinions and see what the community think (I know there are people waiting for opinions before they open their wallets). Well I could not be more impressed with my new gamepark, the screen is fantastic the clarity uncompromised and It was well worth the money! Thank you Gamepark and Thank you GBAX!

I have a couple of questions:

1. Is the 200mhz rumour true?

2. Have you tried flashing the firmware? I figured because of the new way that the light turns off the hardware may be just a little bit different.

What 200mhz rumour? There are gameparks that can overclock higher than others just be luck. There is a possibility that gamepark have set more constant cpu voltages and ram quality meaning that there will be a constant limit I suppose... but there is no "rumour" right now that they can all hit 200mhz. (even at this speed with the BLU on anyway the batteries would last hardly any time at all).

I'm at work at the moment, but as soon as i arrive home, i will be able to flash / Take photos. I am however not sure wether i should wait for others to flash before i do. i do not want to hurt my GP the same day i recieve it!
The bios and firmware are different things so I'm sure you can flash it fine. Perhaps dump your firmware first so you can back it up again if you need to.

"In transit"

Two words have never caused so much anxiety!

Fuzzy last pic.

Does the screen have that nasty blue-tinted coating?

Yeah it is fuzzy....

I thnk Craigs review said the screen s still had the scratchy stuff on them so i will have to send mine to mashmods i think.

I haven't even got an email saying mine is in transit yet... :(

Craig said, "And the BLU screen - crystal clear backlit TFT goodness, it has a screen protector in the form of a plastic cover, knowing how prone such screens are to scratches its a gamble if you should take it off or not, but do peel it back and have a look at how amazing that screen really is, even if you will then recover it forever after."

I'm nit-picking, I know ... but maybe it's just clear plastic, without the gunk-coating.

If not, I'll order a glass replacement screen.

I dont know what you mean by a blue tint. But in 1 of the pictures you can see i peeled the protective film back so you could see it properly but when i did that dust stuck to it like a magnet :( so I blew the dust way and quickly put the film back over the screen. Maybe I should invest in a glass screen

The FLU has a coating on the plastic screen; it prevents glare, I've read. It smudges and scratches VERY easily; I fitted my gp32_console with a glass screen from MashMods, and was a huge improvement.

Edit: After closer inspection of the pic you posted, I don't notice any of this coating ... here's hoping it's not really there :D

The pic of the screen is fuzzy because he moved the camera (hence the double image) It won't actually look fuzzy like that .

They look much better with the glass screen anyway. The first thing I will do is to rip out the plastic one and put in glass after I test my GP.

I haven't received a shipping e-mail yet either, I guess we got overlooked for the first shippment :( Was hoping to get it for the weekend, oh well.
