For those having problems with MP3 files of the wrong bitrates for their GP32, can I point them in the direction of DBPoweramp?
DB Poweramp
This neat little F R E E program has a ripper like audiograb using the free version of CDDB for track names, but it also scores highly in one important area:
It has shell integration: Say you have a 192Kb MP3 and you want to cut it down to 128 to save space on your SMC, you can right click it and convert it to the lower rate!!! Saves a bunch of time.
Also, if like me you are always recording stuff off of DAB radio, you will find it is a pain to trim as an mp3 without the long process of converting first to .wav, using soundforge etc.
I use MP3 Direct Cut which again is free and opens mp3 files instantly.
Hope this helps someone out
