Tis good and all, yet im missing alot (mainly due to my lack of modem support in latest kernel). Anyways can you guys recommend any good apps/ games/ emu's?

Not really unless you can be more specific about what you want. However,
  • AbiWord is a very cool and small (5MB) word processor, I prefer it over OpenOffice.
  • Ditto with Gnumeric over Excel.
  • Dashboard automatically shows you useful files, phone numbers, websites and chatlogs relating to whatever you're currently doing.
  • Haystack is like Microsoft Outlook on crack. It collects everything from emails to todo lists to bookmarks and lets you do virtually anything with them. Worth a try.
  • Freshmeat and Sourceforge are gigantic Linux software repositories, well, Sourceforge does Windows as well, but still - tons of stuff there.
  • X-Chat is my IRC chat app of choice. Windows users now have to pay for it, but Linux users get it free!
Etc.
