Hi there, i got my gp32 this morning, and i really like it.

Now I have two problems with ScummVM:

1. How do you turn of the background music? When I select "Music Driver: No Music" in the options menu, i doesn`t save and is always switched back to <default>. What should I do? (I want to try this to get some extra speed in Indy4)

2.I can`t save my Monkey Island 1 savegames. The game is stored under "gp:/game/monkey" and the error message it produces is "Failed to save game state to file: gp:/game/monkey/monkeyvga.s01".
The savegamepath under options is called /foo/bar, but Indy4 and Loom saves are in their directories.

Oh and ScummVM is in the "gp:/gpmm/ScummVM" folder.

Hi there....

I had some of the same problem with my saves on MI1, and I found out
that I had no more space on my SMC for saves.

That was my first idea, but i have around 4 mb free space left and i can save Indy4 and Loom game states, so that can`t be the problem...

Edit: Could this have something to do with the length of the file name? "Monkeyvga" are 9 characters long. And Indy4s and Looms savegames have shorter names...

Anyone else some idea?

Yes this is the reason. ;)

use the newest gpscumm version, youre using the old 0.3 get 0.5
if you want 0.3 i can send you the hacked version

Does anyone know where i can download version 0.5? The gp32x download section is not up to date and the GPscummvm homepage is not working...

I use the 166 Mhz 0.3 version and I still think it's better than the 0.5.1 one because it's faster, even if you o/c the 0.51 one. ;)

I've no problem with the 0.3 one (no Sam & Max bugs, not any crash at all). ;)

My 166 Mhz compressed version is about 347 ko, if anyone is interested in it...:)

Vimacs : "Hacked" version?! What do you mean? What is added in this one?

No the GP32x link is broken. :)

Take the 0.3c version here. ;)
This contains 133 and 166 Mhz version : the 166 Mhz one is great with a clear sound unlike the 133 Mhz one. :)

Vimacs : I can assure you that the game scrolling is faster in the 0.3c version than in the 0.5.1 one (try the DOTT intro), and yes the cursor too. ;)
