Hi, does anyone know if this emu is planned or in development for the Gp32. Because we all know that Chuckie Egg was and still is the worlds best game. Please could someone make one if not..... thanks very much

We also all know that Chuckie Egg was available on many more computers, but I must admit that it's one of those games that is best played on the computer you first played it on (in my case I find that the Dragon32 version is far superior to any other, with the BBC version coming second).

There was another thread on this not so long ago with more answers, use the Search function and you'll find it!

That's fair enough to say, but have you tried searching the forums for 'bbc' ? :)

My search for bbc micro DID return that thread! The search is fine, it just needs a bit of lateral thinking applied to it to match what people are likely to have written in their posts dependng on what you're looking for. I wasn't telling you off for not searching, just suggesting the quickest way for you to find what you wanted as I knew I had discussed it before.

Anyway, it seems BBC emulators exist but are being kept secret for now until someone with the time and/or inclination decides to grace us with a finished article. This subject keeps coming up though, so someone will do it before too long as there seems to definatley be the desire to see it happen. Afterall it is an emulation project which is more likely to see full speed etc than the likes of GBA, SNES and could be one to actually emerge from the neverending beta stages which is an attractive prospect for whoever sits down to work on it...

Wouldn't mind playing Grannys Garden again. Use to always play that at School.
Wasn't it the Amstrad version that schools had?

Err, I don't think you're thinking of the same thing - it was a totally mode7 based educational game - can't see it on the Amstrad myself...

Anyone ever play L? - another mode 7 game, but aimed at a higher level than Granny's Garden...

I was almost certain I played it on an Amstrad. Guess I was thinking wrong. Ah well.

My school had the BBC version, I'm certain (they gave me their BBCs when they upgraded to PCs, along with a copy of Granny's Garden :D ). And it was definitely NOT Mode7.

Hows about Citadel?

Does anyone remember that game? No one I speak to has a clue what I'm talking about...
