Usb Snes Converter...drool

SNES to USB? I dont see how it couldnt be used on a PC emulator, atleast any that allow you to change your button config... but if you mean for the gp32_console I doubt it.

If the drivers aren't too complex and the source is availiable, it could be done with extensive emu modifications that would probably slow it down immensly. Somebody would have to go through a lot of hell and it probably wouldn't work good enough anyway.

Maybee I'm missing the point here, but isn't the point of the GP32 is it's portable. Don't you think adding Gamepads to it, which are just about the same size as the GP32 a bit daft? You might as well drag around a console and an add on TFT screen?

Sorry if that sounded a bit defeatist there, I guess it's good if it was an excersize, it's jut not very practical. I would feel daft myself having the GP and a PS2 gamepad on the bus  .

I wouldn't have thought it would slow it down. I think the main problem is someone wanting to write drivers and a way to power it, as the gp32 usb is unpowered.

That's a point, no power. That means the vibration is out too :(

Earlier, mashmods sold the a mod which allowed you to connect a psx controller to the gp32. It wasn't using the USB port though.

lol... wanting my four buttons directly under my thumb isn't daft... and since I'd be using mine at work... not on the bus...it'd be perfect... but its ok..i know its only a pipedream... just thought it was cool to think about:)

It was wired directly into the traces on the motherboard for the directional pad of the GP.
