Hi everyone i'm looking for a new 128 mb SMC for christmas and
don't want to order it online are there any good stores to buy from?

bestbuy.com still has them for $60... but i got my other one from gp32z for only $32...

They sell them at Costco for 30$, but i dont know if there is a Costco near you ;)

EDIT: this is not an online store, sorry

yes this is what I want exept there are no Costco's near me...

sorry if I didn't explain my self very well. I DO NOT want an online store
I want someplace where I can just walk in and buy it and
not have to wait for it to ship or anything! :D

edit: otherwise i'll probably use digi4me.com cause $22 is a nice price thanks Bob

http://www.digi4me.com

128MB SMC without case = $22.00

go through Pricewatch & get free shipping.
they are really fast, they're in california, I'm in Florida, I got it in 4 days.

I totally recommend them!

I second this. I bought two SMCs from this store. They state that they are generic SMC cards, but upon receiving them I found that they were the exact same as the SMC I bought at Wal-Mart for $50 (my Wal-Mart SMC was from Lexar Media). The SMCs come in a soft sleeve thing (which I really don't mind).

Very fast delivery and good service.

do you happen to have a store called fry's in your area? There is one in my area and it is the biggest electronic store around (about 2 times the size of a costco.) They always have cheap itesm and i evn saw smcs for $15 b4 (i dint buy cuz i already have 2)

I wouldn't say fry's is anywhere near 2 times the size as Costco. Thats a bit exagerated. :)

Anyways most of fry's electronics are in CA. :) Only a few are outside CA.

Aren`t there enough "best place to buy someting" threads?

I mean, there is a new one nearly every other day...

I think its a good way to gather information... find out about stores you may not have known about before. And it gives newbies a chance to see how much items related to the hobby should cost so they won't get taken by rip off stores like radioshack:)

Pricewatch is just a site that you can look to see the cheapest prices with online stores, if you need any computer parts ever, go to pricewatch first. The only reason I brought it up is that you get free shipping if you locate it on pricewatch and then link to the site.
It's not that hard just type in 128MB SMC in the search box.

PS - No Problem! :D
