Counter Strike Source

Well I was intending to play all afternoon but I can't because my dad is insisting on keeping his AOL connection open (we're now on BT broadband and he still uses it, its amazing how older people apply the same attitudes towards modern things such as the net) AOL rockets my ping (how can it take up so much bandwith from a 2.2meg connection?).

I could play on my laptop but its not smooth enough 100% of the time so accuracy goes out of the window.

83.142.53.171:27015 this is the server I spend most of my time on but I didnt mention it earlier because its usually so full you can never get on. Its called UK training camp 1 if its full you get redirected to UKTC 2,I'll only ever be on 1 so maybe I'll catch ou guys on there sometime.

I think he means he doesn't have the money to buy a game

Yeah, sorry. I wasn't clear enough. It's pay day on Friday, and the holidays start on Thursday so I might treat myself to a shiny new copy of Half Life 2. Then I'll boot up Counter-Strike and die a lot.

Well I've bought it now, hopefully it should be here on Monday.

twimfy was just playing on it for like over half an hour, where you at?

I can't get on until later on tonight (probably around nine but no garauntees) My parents are buying ebay crap again and they just take over the home PC. My laptop isn't quite good enough for CS for some reason the graphics are fine and smooth but the ping just wont go down.

twimfy, you were on for like 10 minutes at the most when i was there? i thought maybe we could of played a lil longer as this was planned for ages?

my bro was watching vids on the same connection on another computer which cause me to lag allot at times  ...

Sorry, my dad came through and demanded an ebay check...man I can't wait to move out again its pissing me off, as if an auction he's running is gonna change so much it needs to be seen, especially with 4 days to go.

It's a pity cos Knas_sandlands is my favourite map, I was playing rather poorly when you came on.

Nice trooper, real nice. Its the worst thing in the world being away from uni, all of that independence and waking up at dinner time just goes right out of the window.

I don`t envy you, Having to share a computer with other people, It must be a nightmare.

BTW: You could suggest to your parents that they can use your laptop when you want to do online gaming, Leaving the main PC free for you to use, Just an idea. :)

I've already thought of that but won't even bother asking, they're the type who think that a single hour spent playing games is a waste of life so they'll do anything to make things difficult for me.

I've been playing games for 16 years they can't seriously expect me to stop now.
