Hi guys
I've have barely touched my gp32 in the last year and a half, as a result of my draft. However, my good karma is kicking back in, and my leg injury is sure to keep me home for at least a month, which is exactly what I need to get back on the scene. Soooo.....what are the best things that came out in the last year and a half? (I already know Dr.MD and the "another world" port. both are great but that's all I know)
Another thing I can't figure out is the whole gpx2 vs. xgp thing....are there two companies competing each other now? If so how has it come to this?

Mame! Download 1.4 and enjoy the freedom of handheld Mame. You'll be looking for the earliest romsets you can get your hands on (it's based off .34 I think). I play 90% mameGP32.
Also, Warlock of Firetop Mountain is neat if you remember the days of old.
Check the latest comp's, there's a lot of great releases out there.

Good luck with the leg.

When you say 'draft' what do you refer to?

As for the new machines to come.... dunno, don't care, GP32 will do for the next, oo, 3 years I'll bet.

Year and a half? Then definitely check out what Reesy has done with DrMD if you haven't yet. It's a killer Genesis/Megadrive emulator with great speed and features. Phantasy Star IV plays beautifully on it, great RPG.

Rlyeh is planning a massive F-Day release of all his emulators updated. He released a preview of 4 emulators at the GBAX 2005 compo here. There are lots of other good entries for download too.

When is F-day due, actually?

I have a feeling they may be released with the new console (just a wild guess). It's been a hell of a wait but it will be worth it in the end.

:)

Thanks guys
As I already said, I know about DR.MD and I'm playing the hell out of it. No amount of money can buy the bliss of playing genesis games fullspeed with sound of my gp32. GPquake is suprisingly very playable.....no one would believe these things would be possible two years ago....
