Ok the pc desk its on is right next a radiator so its been readiated plus a cable pulled it up and dropped it down so now i am really questioning its working (a sthe anntena was right next to the radiator) when i use it for actual wi-fi.

hehe... I dont think so :p

The PSP has Wifi, if WiFi was dangerous I dont think they would be allowed to put it in a handheld device if it could turn your brain to jelly :p :)

Try telling that to most of the pspupdate crowd. Most of them have brains of jelly already.

Here's to calling this the Official Endless Worries Of A Teenage Drama Queen And His Cheapo Electronics Thread.

phones microwave you braine into jelly! iv seen o think it was "25" phones or less, all ringing at the same time around a sauce pan, and it boiled it! it was freaky to see what they do to you! i mean you could eat it if you wanted to...

no the wifi runs on 2.4ghz the same frequency as microwaves
True, the radiation of a wifi device is, like those of cellphones, in the microwave area. But it is very weak. Even strong wifi routers have only a transmitting power below 100 mW. Even cellphones have signifigantly more transmitting power, and those are used right beside your head!

Actually, in the UK, it's only 50Mw maximum. When you look at the fact that even the crappiest microwave ovens are beaming it out at 650W, that makes them (1000/50) * 650 times more powerful...

A grand toal of 13,000 times more powerful.

So, no need to worry :p

It was an egg and 100 phones and it did nothing as the shell prevented the 2.4 ghz waves causing friction in the water molecules.

13,000 times doesnt seem that much more. it means i could warm a croissant in 10 seconds which onyl 13,000 routers. i just means that its doign the damage slower. it would take less than 3 second swith your head in a microwave to do that!
