Emulators on a Korean Site

You guys should get off his back you dont know what hapened when he had his emu leaked he got mail bombed and he stoped work on it cause of that. Now he is still working on it and trying to get the bugs out.

He isnt hurting the community by making it closed source he hasnt stoped working on it so just leave him alone about releasing the source he has the right to keep it.
If he does finish the emu with full speed and sound then he still doesnt need the source to be released.

Just get the source code for 1 and port it over if u want to just let him be he's had enough people trying to get him he dosent need people on his back about source code. If he wasnt working on it then it might be a bit different still he has the right to keep the source code.

Sorry for sounding harsh but you dont have the right to demand the source code be open source.

I have an awesome idea, SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LET THE AUTHOR DO HIS WORK! If you want open source and public betas, make your own emus and release them...

Sorry. Im tired and in a bad mood and work has been shit to me. But still, im so sick of hearing people bitch about betas. Im with the authors on whatever they want to do, they are supplying the emus...

I think an author has every right in the world to have closed source, I would hate to bust my ass making something just for everyone else to take my hard work and claim it as there own, but I also think that if an author decides to give up on a project he should give it out as open source so others can perfect it. As long as the ones who finish it give the original author some credit.

im all for people keeping closed sourse because that programs yout baby you've nurished it made it grow and when you think its right set it free on the world.

what i don't like is people just not mentioning it, a little progress report wouldn't be too bad like the DC emu icarus people knows it's coming and are even more excited by the progress reports.

and it must be bloody annoying people emailing you asking a bout compiling the program and crap like that

i cant see anyone asking for him to make it open source where are all these insane replie refering to?

I ain't readin or listening to this who deserves what conversation, but just to let you know the 159mhz gba emulator will show the first few screens of a game under 5mb in size and that's it, I've had v-rally 3 working to the point where I might reach playable material but I can't be bothered to wait.

I got this emu ages ago.

Everyone I don't know how this topic even got going in this direction, but we are way off topic and I think it would be appropriate if a mod would come by and close this or something.
