hey, i b-accidently un-installed steam, and all its contents such as my maps, games and all sorts!, i wank to know how i can make backdate it, not sure what its called, but it sets it back the another date orsomething.... anyhelp would be much appreciated

it alright, i think i haveit sorted, im getting some programme which will fix it, it will recover it without turing back time on my hard drive...

its a long story whyit happened, in other words cant be assed to explain it. lol.

... But if you uninstall steam, all of your stuff stays on your hard drive. All of those huge 1+ gig files for hl2 and stuff. Even maps stay. Ive uninstalled steam many times before. Weird why that happend to you...
