Possible External Power Source For Gp2x

I'm thinking no, does not 2X run with 3V, and that thing provides 5V?

Of course, voltage converter or what you call them should help... How is that thing charged?

OTOH, 2 2500mAH batteries give me 5000mAH...

Not very technical are they?

Looks good to me, though we need some one with some extra cash to test it for us. :)

Edit: Oh now I see the stats :) thats what I get for playing on the forums at work :)

Yes it does say 5v when using it with an ipod but if you also buy the mobile tips kit which allows it to work with pdas and cell phones there might be an adaptor in there that will work with the 3.3v gp2x. :D

Well, there are ways to lessen the voltage, though I'm no expert. NiMH rechargeables give out only 1.2V per battery... Not good for overclocking... This might be good for OC-on-the-road...

Parallel (all positive on one side. all negative on the other side) Makes amps add up.

Series (like the GP2X)makes the volts add up

two 1.2v 2500mAh in series makes 2.4v 2500mAh battery

two 1.2v 2500mAh in parallel makes 1.2v 5000mAh battery
