I asked NK about the latest status of his emulators in gpain.com. He replied that he won't be able to update them as often as he used to. (some said he's recently hired - unconfirmed) However, if anyone is interested in continuing his work, he's willing to provide all the source code and data. He's initial intention was that if better emulators come out to replace his emulators or he finishes the emulator to a certain level (Tales of Phantasia Korean version is his goal), he would stop working on them.

Somehow I doubt it; Reesy strikes me as someone who's primarily into Sega bits and pieces. But I suppose you never know...

Personally, I'm interest in maybe working on NES one, mainly because I want my NES emulator to run perfectly on GP2x along with DrMD, which is already in good hand.

someone should get the source and put it somewhere safe just in case his HD gets wiped... do it.

...do it now.

He released source before. :)

and I bet devs are already working on *THEIR* snes, nes and neocd emus. ;)

a straight port of opensnes9x (last version by reesy) to HH would be enough.
this version running at 300mhz on my gp2x should be perfect :)
