Hello,

What is the diameter of the gp2x speakers, please ?

Thanks,

May I ask what you want to know this for? I'm not popping open my gp2x again and trying to find my micrometer in my heap of stuff for nothin' :p

~ the size of a U.S. dime, give or take a millimeter ;)

I only opened up my GP2X the one time ... Never. Again.

Why ... does everything pop outta place or something. I just got my GP2X yesterday and noticed the X and B buttons don't click like the upper A and Y buttons and they are soft to press which isn't natural. So I was thinkin' about poppin' it open and havin' a look. (LoL at the amount of abreviations :p)

Only open it if you have problems; in my case I had a slight LCD distortion when I pushed right on the joystick, and several dozen annoying motes of dust under the screen protector.

The speakers are affixed with small circular bits of foam tape, which proved trickey to re-assemble ...

The speakers are pretty tinny at the best of times, but its just the size of them that will define this. It'd be ok for movies as long as all your intersested in is hearing whats going on, they are far too small for music to be listenable - and not boomingly loud either.

I think you'll have a shit time finding other speakers the same size and of noticably better quality. Your probably best off with some of thoes speakers for MP3 players if you want something small but better quality, however they are giant in comparison to the 2X originals.
