I was inspired to write this post after seeing this post in another thread: here.

For me, if something like this could be ported, it would make the gp2x really useful, being able to have an advanced graphic calculator and gaming device in one ;) - Would save me having to carry both around too, hehe.

As for the problem of it not fittimng onto the gp2x screen, I was thinking perhaps have a portion of it shown on the screen, and moving up and down the calculator by using the L and R buttons.

eg: 3 screens, the LCD screen on top, and the buttons split into 2 across 2 below. Moving up and down either by going up by moving upwards selecting buttons, or L and R.

It was just a thought, just thinking how the gp2x could become even more useful than it already is.

You saw my suggestion. ;)

Well, here's My vision. You give the arrow keys to the Joystick. Then important buttons such as on, second, enter, alpha, etc. can be mapped permanently to some of the buttons on the 2X. Then L would bring up the menu of the buttons. You could even have 3 buttons that bring up seperate buttons so that you can quickly get to the buttons on the calc you need without having to scroll.
